Live Like You Green It, ah another favorite. It’s a black female owned vegan, organic, and sustainable skincare brand sold on Etsy. The wonder is based in Miami and now sells her items in four zero-waste shops. How cool!
The shop owner, Dani, is the best! She’s very thoughtful and intentional about her products and their ingredients. Her online shop is full of highly rated zero-waste products. My favorites by far are the natural, baking soda-free deodorant cream in grapefruit and geranium scent and the vegan peppermint lip balm. The deodorant is so smooth and easy to apply, unlike other natural deodorants I’ve tried. The smell isn’t overpowering at all, which is good for sensitive folks. The lip balm is minty and applies well. It’s perfect for keeping your lips moisturized in the winter!
Live Like You Green It also sells organic skin and hair oils, along with herbal infused body butters (which I haven’t tried yet). Some of her newer products include vegan tinted lip balm and botanical bath bombs. The bath bombs are gorgeous!
The packaging is zero-waste, meaning no plastics are used on the product or the shipping box. I find that so amazing and such a big commitment! I love that her shop is eco-friendly and will certainly get more deodorant when I run out—it’s just that good!
